Britannia House was acquired by Blackbeard's in 2005 and showcases an array of West Indian furniture from throughout the Caribbean.

Originally built in the 1847 by Edward B. Simmons, this is one of the few remaining wooden residences from the period.

Britannia House gets its name from the subsequent owner, Robert Boyd Lamb, her Britannic Majesty's Consul on the Island of St. Thomas.

Lamb purchased the property and adjacent garden plots in the 1858 and lived there with his family until 1869 when it was sold to James Donald Lamb.
